Freeze → Unfreeze on the Road

This week, my body taught me something simple yet profound. While out on the road, surrounded by noise and motion, I noticed a familiar freeze settling in. My chest tightened, my muscles tensed, and my mind felt locked in the hum of external stimuli.

When I returned home, I gave myself permission to pause, to breathe, to notice the sensations without judgment. Slowly, the tension released, the body began to unfreeze. It was a quiet reminder: the nervous system carries experiences, and it needs time and attention to settle after overstimulation.

This post marks the first step in a new journey, exploring my body’s wisdom through somatic experiencing, reflections from Healing Trauma, and small experiments in noticing, feeling, and learning.
